Tan Studio uses Norvell tanning solutions, Amber Sun and Organic Sun. These high-quality solutions produce an express, quick-drying, natural, long-lasting tan! Radiant skin is only one spray away!

During your session at Tan Studio the technician applies a sunless tanning solution using a professional spray tan machine. The entire process takes approximately 30 minutes including dry time and instructions. Due to the cosmetic bronzers in the solution you will have immediate results. Once the bronzers (DHA) start to react with the amino acids in your skin it will begin to produce a color change. You will appear darker until the cosmetic bronzers are rinsed away in your first shower. Norvell Sunless Solutions adhere to your natural skin tone and enhance your color of skin creating a customized color on all different tones. During your session relax and enjoy the scented formula of raspberry and almond extracts.

Before and After

Preparation

24 to 48 (minumum 8 hours) Remove any unwanted facial/body hair with shaving and/or waxing. Exfoliate the skin with an oil-free scrub. Tan Studio carries Norvell Moisturizing Body Scrub, $12. Exfoliate the skin using a washcloth, glove or mitt from head to toe paying special attention to your hands, feet, elbows, knees and any other dry areas. This is a very important step in obtaining the best results. Exfoliating the skin will allow the solution to go on more evenly and help your tan last longer.
On the day of your session avoid using soaps, creamy moisturizers, lotions, perfumes or anything that may create a barrier between your skin and the sunless solution. Makeup and deodorant can be removed at the time of the session with wipes provided by Tan Studio.
During your session wear something dark or old due to cosmetic bronzers in the solution that can stain your clothing. It is suggested to wear an old bathing suit or bra and underwear, depending on your comfort level and where you want tan lines. Disposables are also available.

Maintenance

After your session wear dark and loose fitting clothing. If it is raining dress accordingly and bring an umbrella. If wearing shorts, bring something to sit on apohlstered seats.
Stay dry for at least 6 hours after your session avoiding water and heavy perspiration.
While showering avoid hot water and bar soap. Use a moisturizing shower gel and gently pat your skin dry. Apply lotion to damp skin and again in the evening. By keeping the skin nicely hydrated you will slow down the exfoliation process, helping your tan last longer and with the fading process.
If possible, avoid chlorinated swimming pools, hot tubs, products containing mineral oil, hydroxy acids or anything else that will speed up the exfoliation process.
To help extend the life of your tan you can also use a moisturizer containing bronzer. Tan Studio carries a variety of skin care products to help acheive the best results.
